]]> LITTLE ROCK (TBP) — Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Trucking Association are working together to speed up the licensing process for commercial truck drivers. More examiners are being hired with pre-approved overtime. Saline County Fairgrounds is being utilized for a testing location beginning May 31, 2022 for 45 days.

Chris Spears, ATA President and CEO, stated, “This is truly an earn-while-you-learn program. But it’s more than just a paycheck for apprentices: by participating in a registered program, they are eligible for things like child care, housing allowances, and other support as they start down this new career path.”
