]]> Tara Maxam is a 31-year-old female truck driver from Tampa, Florida.  After spending over two years working as a banker and loan officer, she left the bank to get behind the wheel. She now works for Schneider National. Due to the pandemic, She began working from home and realized how therapeutic and refreshing being outside is. Driving allows her to see the world.

Maxam stated, “With beginning anew in what I considered to be quite an adventurous career, I was honestly terrified at first. I’ve always been afraid of major change, but this was something I really wanted to do.”  Living in a pandemic has taught her how important truckers are and that they “are the lifeline of the world.”
